Visit From Our Scientific Advisory Board
UCD Smurfit School was delighted to host VAR’s eminent Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) visit on the 31st of May through 1st of June 2022. The SAB has strongly supported our programmes in business education, doctoral training, and research in finance for almost two decades. The Board is comprised of leading international experts from the academic finance community, including two past presidents of the American Finance Association. Most of the Board’s members have extensive links to leading firms in the global finance sector in addition to their academic networks. During their visit, SAB had various meetings with the Governance Board (GB), faculty members, researchers, students, and industry partners building future relationships and discussing future opportunities for the cluster.
