Governance Board

The Governance Board of FMC² is comprised of both industry and academic members. The role of the Governance Committee is to:

• Provide oversight of the activities and progress of FMC²

• Assist the University President in delivering six-monthly progress updates to SFI

• Ensure that FMC² is operating and developing in line with expectations and best practice in all aspects of its operations

• Advise the director of FMC² on matters of governance, policy and procedure

• Advise FMC² management on aspects of policy, strategy and overall objectives

Scientific Advisory Board

The function of the Scientific Advisory Board is to:

• Provide the research cluster, and specifically the SRC Director, with independent, impartial, scientific advice

• Assist in identifying collaborative possibilities between the cluster and other research groups and industry partners

• Act as an independent advisory group for the cluster

• Contribute to the Governance Committee and President in delivering progress updates to SFI

Management Committee

The management committee supports the Director of FMC² in controlling the day-to-day operations of the research cluster. The committee helps ensure alignment between research requirements and operational plans and assists the Director in managing these resources and plans.
