UCD PhD Scholarship in Finance

University College Dublin (UCD) has openings for PhD Scholarships for a programme of research in Financial Econometrics or Empirical Finance. The candidate(s) will work in the Financial Mathematics Computation Cluster (FMC2).  The FMC Cluster is a collaboration between Industry, University College Dublin (UCD), Dublin City University (DCU) and Maynooth University.

These positions are relevant for well-qualified students with postgraduate degrees in finance, economics, statistics, mathematics and related disciplines.

Research will cover topics in:

(1) Asset Pricing and Risk

(2) Risk Management of Financial and Real Assets

(3) Fintech and applications

We provide a rich and vibrant research environment for our researchers. The PhD scholarship offers an attractive package including a tax fee stipend of €18.500 per annum for four years and tuition fees for four years and support for research activities (travel funding, access to a wide array of research databases etc.).
